[jawsscripts] JAWS Cursor jumps over bold labels

Greeting all,
I have a problem with JAWS cursor jumping over a Label/StaticText on a .NET form. 
It's happening with JAWS 7 & also 8.
The default font for the label is Microsoft Sans Serif and JAWS cursor picks the label up just fine. Once I make it bold then JAWS cursor jumps over it, it reads the label above and after pressing DownArrow it jumps to the label below.
If I switch the font to Arial or Courier then JAWS cursor has no problem picking the label up whether its font is bold or not. Although this seems to be a practical solution but I'm wondering if there is any logical reason behind this behaviour.
