I have no clue with jaws scripts, but I know both Jamal's text pal and ed
sharp editors have built in keystrokes for doing this, it may be a case of
using a editors to do this instead of jaws scripts.
if you wish to try it, and the source code for both applications is included
with them, go to my grab bag site, and there under the useful software
header about 2/3 the way down the page.
