Marvin:

Our software is not very useful for Jaws, VirtualEyes, or other
Accessibility software. We did have a jaws user in previous years here in
the support team. Since he left, the built-in Accessibiilty capabilitites
have deteriorated. The developers just did not maintain focus on the task of
tagging icons.

Even just tabbing around the screen is only available after a mouse click to
choose a module. Once in, there is some mouse-less capability, but it is
just not pretty.

I am afraid that EasyRecovery will require some sighted assistance to
utilize.
As a result, no matter how capable the software is in general, I would not
recommend it for visually impaired, self-sufficient and independent users.

You can try the free version without any financial risk if you are still
interested. See the 'canned' response below.

EasyRecovery software is designed to help in situations like these.

We cannot guarantee what is left on your system, but with our downloadable
software you can investigate with the free trial of EasyRecovery. That
software is designed to be capable in situations like yours, but the
tremendous number of variations require individual tests on the exact drive
with an EasyRecovery Trial to be sure of results. Our process is to gain
access to the files, even with partitions corrupt or missing, and copy to a
valid destination. The recovery software is passive to the drive with a
problem.

This is 30 day time-limited trial software. The trial software will allow
you to recover one file, and will allow you to see the file names and even
contents of files before you decide on a purchase. The trial software will
not return (or copy out more than a single file). However all files that can
be viewable, not just one, are shown within the software to show everything
it can discover before you decide on a purchase.
Please run the trial version of EasyRecovery before you purchase to see what
is possible with our software.
It is available on our website as a free download.

If you only have data corruption or deleted files, but not hardware failure,
EasyRecovery software is an option. See our website for information, free
trials and online software purchasing:

If software is not able to help we also have in-lab data recovery as an
secondary alternative. If you want to find out more yourself, you can go to
the US website for a quote for services, or call us directly.
Quote form (designed for fast responses):
http://www.ontrackdatarecovery.com/data-recovery-quote/

We also have both In-lab and Remote data recovery services.
If your hardware is failing these services are the best options.

DataRecovery Services phone lines are open within a minute or two, so long
waits are unusual.

If I understand correctly, EasyRecovery is crashing after you select the
FormatRecovery scan option.

If so, that is expected behavior for older versions running on Windows Vista
or 7 or unsupported environments such as servers, RAID, spanned sets or
non-Microsoft operating systems.

EasyRecovery 6.21 now supports Windows Vista or 7.

Servers, RAID, spanned sets or non-Microsoft operating systems can be
recovered using our engineering services.
