Good evening Christina,
A couple of general points about using JAWS with Java applications.

1. When you install the access bridge you must make sure that you are  
installing it for the version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE)  
that your application will be executed from.

2. Even with the access bridge properly configured not all  
applications will be accessible.

Are you able to tell us the name of the application or applications  
you are trying to use?  That might help us to let you know if the  
application has been known to work with JAWS in the past.
