One of the ways I do it is I will open the .jkm file in note pad, from there 
you are able to type in the key you want to assign manually.  This is also 
helpful for scripts where you may want to reassign the tab key to a specific 
script.  Once you have made the changes you want just press control s to save 
the file and that should do it.
