I've still seen it in JFW 9, including the final version. If it's being
seen in both Firefox and IE, I'd be surprised if FS doesn't know about
it already, but I'll open a ticket. As I said in a previous post, I'd
encourage others who are seeing this to also open a ticket. The more
info FS has, the more they'll have to go on in coming up with root cause.

Sure thing. I have had that happen at a variety of sites. I believe
Jaws thinks the key is a quick key, and if you keep typing the key
until something is written, it will be all right.
Now that I have had Jaws 9 for a few days, I think that weirdness
might have been fixed.

I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem, or if it's a problem
more with the site I'm using.
I sometimes use a secure mailbox for sending secure e-mails and
attachments. The fields for filling out the to, cc, subject, and edit
portions of the web-based messages are of course form fields. When I
turn on Form Fields and start typing, the first press of a letter
sometimes results in a Jaws message as if I hadn't turned forms mode
on. E.g. Capital J might tell me about there being no placemarkers.
When I press it again, I get my text. Or sometimes pressing enter in
an edit field will turn forms mode off instead of going to a new line.
Sometimes everything works as it should.
Does anyone else have problems with web forms?
