Hi all --
A while back someone on this list sent me the description on how to run jaws
as a service instead of just for my login. It simply involved putting a dos
command in a shortcut with a hotkey on my desktop and then hitting that
hotkey.
The dos command is
C:\WINDOWS\system32\net.exe start jfwservice
It works like a charm and comes in handy when I have to unload and reload
jaws.
My question now is, will this command work with jaws10 without change? I
mean is this jaws service something that gets updated under the table when I
install jaws 10?
Just curious. I know how to find out -- I'll just go unload and reload and
check the version... Duh -- sorry, it's the middle of the night. I think
I'll have a v8...better than a j10
Take care all
