[JAWSLite] Re: reading voices strange in say all

Hi Sherry,

First, determine which screen reader is actually producing the voice by
Alt-Tabbing through your running applications. If the voice is coming from
Narrator, simply close it from its user interface and launch JAWS from the
Run dialog (Windows key-R, then type in Jaws 9) or using its shortcut key
(usually Alt-Control-J). If the voice is coming from JAWS, focus on JAWS
and press Insert-Control-S to bring up the list of synthesizers and select
Eloquence. Once you have set the synthesizer to Eloquence, you can change
the actual voice in the Individual Voice Adjustments dialog box of the
Voices submenu of the JAWS Options menu. In this dialog box, tab to Person
and select Reed, the first item in the list of voices if you want the
default Sapi 4 Eloquence voice that most users prefer. Of course, you can
also change the voice rate and pitch in this dialog box. Hope you find this
helpful.
