[JAWSLite] reading part of the screen

I use a web site that offers programs to automatically control workout
equipment like treadmills, ellipticals, etc., that are equipped with the IFIT
feature. The programs send signals to the equipment that automatically changes
the speed and incline of my treadmill according to the daily free workout.
Visually, if your computer was beside the treadmill, you'd be able to see the
speed and incline settings, or I suppose if I could read the console, I'd also
know. As the program runs, there is a part of the computer screen which shows
in text, the current speed and incline. Before I launch a workout, I know the
maximum speed, incline and duration. But I'd also like to know what each change
is.
If I set Jaws to say all, I will eventually hear the knew settings as the
screen changes. But Jaws of course reads the entire screen. But can I make Jaws
read only the part I am interested in when the screen changes? If this is
something that can be done with frames, I'll need some help as I've never
defined a specific area to monitor.
This is all free, and if anyone wants to check it out, the website is
