[JAWSLite] Re: pdf on the net

Well,

reading items directly from an email presents what windows sees as a
security problem.

If you, as you say, save the pdf to your C: drive, or anywhere, other
than the temporary files location that email attachments end up using,
things are considered more secure. makes no sense I know.

Also, another tip, I've found that you should set your adobe so that it
opens internet explorer pdf content in the reader itself, rather than
using the built-in capability of internet explorer to show pdf files.
when you do this, you get much better reading with a screen reader,
although it does open a separate window to do this.

finally, make sure you have the latest version of 8.

Chip
