[JAWSLite] Re: narrator

Hi,
I have missed the start of the topic, but I will try to explain why you have
problems with Video Interscept errors and JAWS.
On some newer laptops with integrated on-board video adapters, JAWS cannot
correctly identify the video driver, because the different manufacturers may
alter this driver in any way.
I have experienced such issue on HP 6715B laptop and I was unable to make
JAWS 8 to work properly. Surprisingly, JAWS 6.0 worked without any
difficulties. Then, I tried to download the latest drivers from HP and after
upgrading the Bios and the video, JAWS 8 installed its intercept driver
successfully.
Try this, maybe with driver update, the things will go back to normal.

Hi Dave -- Unfortunately after a disk space crunch, I disabled the ability
to restore and deleted all the restore points. It wasn't worth it -- the
space it freed up was only a fraction of the size of my disk.
I don't trust system restores though as I do it so seldom that I haven't
read up on what all is lost when you roll back. It isn't clear to me
whether I would lose important data.
Anyway, mia culpa -- can't restore.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Have you tried going back to your last restore point and restoring the
computer from there? If you did so, what kind of response did you get?
Your Friend Dave
