[JAWSLite] Re: loading Jaws scripts

Hi:
Try while in the applications in question; hit insert +0 to enter the
script manager for that application. Make sure that the script manager
says the name of the application your in and not default. If there are
scripts there then try hitting control + S to recompile the scripts. If
the script manager is blank, then Take note of the application name and
make sure it is the same as the scripts in your scripts settings folder.
You can also open the .jss file for the application in question, then
control + A to select all; Control + C to copy all to the clipboard and
paste that into the script manager for that application if it is blank and
hit control + S to compile the scripts and hit alt +F4 to exit the script
manager.

Subject: [JAWSLite] loading Jaws scripts

I've got some applications that when I run them, the associated Jaws script
files aren't being loaded. One is for Sound Taxi which I am trying out
before I buy. I have the Jaws scripts which I installed according to the
accompanying install procedure into my Personal settings. But insert-Q
tells me that default Jaws settings are loaded. I then checked another
small application I use a lot for which I had saved my own .jcf settings.
Again, insert-Q says jaws default settings are loaded, not the application
specific files.

How do I get the correct script files to load in Jaws 8? They are all there
when I explore my Jaws settings folders.

Jean
