Thanks for pursuing this.  I am starting a NFP and my accountant will set up
QuickBooks for me.  It looks, for the moment, as though I will have to rely
on readers to assist me in making entries and doing many accounting
functions.  I have remained with XP Pro but I will venture into VISTA if
QuickBooks becomes accessible.  In order to determine demand, it may be
necessary to contact major organizations for the blind as well as a range of
business and professional groups.  You may want to develop a volunteer group
in the USA and Canada to do the leg work.  Internationally, the WBU would be
the likely choice.

Good evening,

A representative from Intuit was in contact with me today by e-mail and 
expressed interest in making their applications more accessible.  I don't 
know what this will turn into, or how long it will take to proceed.

In the mean time, if there is enough interest, I would be willing to script 
Quickbooks.  There would have to be a considerable amount of interest though

in order for it to be worth my time to script the application.
