Hi, Jean. I didn't download the manuals, and so far have felt no need of
additional information.

Thanks Adrian,
I hadn't ben following that thread and didn't know about Access Bridge
until now. I'll install it and see if it helps Jaws. I notice on the
download page there are manuals, etc. I assume that's not necessary as an
end user?
Thanks for providing the direct link.
Jean

I want to thank Don Mauck for this suggestion. Earlier, I'd read on this
list that Java might be at the root of my sudden difficulty reading Amazon
WebPages, and so I downloaded Java Access Bridge, as he suggested. As a
result, I'm no longer experiencing sluggishness on Amazon pages.
Please correct me if there's a later version, Don (you mention 2.1), but
I found a Sun Java page with a description of Access Bridge and links for
downloading version 2.0.1:
http://java.sun.com/products/accessbridge/
Note. I didn't bother with the special Sun download manager, as
recommended on that page. I just clicked on the Access Bridge link
itself, saved to my desktop, and then let the application's wizard take
over. It's a very smooth process.
