[JAWSLite] Re: how to read mandarine chinese with jaws?

Allan:
I apologize for replying to the list again, but I could not extract your
address to write to you personally so here it is what I have done according
to the instructions, but it still does not seem to be working, can you
contact me privately please at zdenekvopat@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
many thanks, my notes follows:

attempted to install chinese language support and input method editor for
windows xp

went to start button, control panel regional and language options, went on
language option in a dialog box and got on languages tab, checked instal
east asian languages, clicked apply and ok and rebooted the computer,
clicked on text services and input language settings button, clicked add
language button, pickced up chinese prc from the combo box, in the
instruction was written that I should check chinese imm kebyboard, but I
never saw where I could do so, instead when I pressed tab I saw obption
chinese (simplified) microsoft pinying imm 3.0 so I left it there pressed ok
button, clicked apply button, clicked ok button, although it was said that
there should be language button on the task bar I could not find it I looked
for it but using insert f10 and going with the cursor up and down, than I
opened ms word again could not find the button for switching to chinese on
the task bar but got there using alt-shift combination, the computer said
that it set the mode to chinese (prc), I typed without quotation marks “wo”
did not press any enter or anything, although the website said that after
typing wihtout quotes “wo” no prompt line poped up or at least I don’t know
about it, so how do I write whether I mean wo with first or wo with the
second tone? Or where am I making a mistake?

Many thanks. 我
