[JAWSLite] how to read mandarine chinese with jaws?

I would like to learn Mandarine Chinese and I bought the realspeak Chinese 
voice compatible with jaws. The realspeak voice pronounces correctly stuff 
from Chinese webpages, however, I don't know how to input Chinese characters 
so chinese realspeak could pronounce them. Any ideas or suggestions? Many
