have you looked at the settings in default.jcf in the jaws configuration manager, settings menu, text processing, the first field is for how many times a repeated symbol is spoken? , that and try it with the outlook scripts in configuration manager as well.

Hi list,
I get emails from weather underground. In each message up until tonight
there were three equals like this.=== before the beginning of the message.
Since I downloaded the latest jaws update, I hear = 9 times now. I tried
replacing it in the jaws dictionary with a space, but nothing works. How
can
I stop that many = in the email? I am running jaws 8 with the latest update 
and Windows XP Pro.
