That's a good question -- is the dictionary stored in a persons application
settings with all the scripts and configurations? If so you might be able to
access it if jaws gives you a way to do so. But doing this might be just as
hard as loading jaws9 and then going back to jaws10.
I don't even know if the dictionary in jaws10 is in the identical format as
jaws9 -- didn't they add some capabilities to the jaws dictionary in jaws10?
It may be you can read the jaws9 dictionary files with jaws 10 but not vice
versa.
Ok I just went to my personal jaws settings and nothing was there, then to
my shared settings and found default.jdf, which I believe is the default
dictionary file. It is shared, not between jaws versions, but rather between
logins.
Go into the dictionary manager and you will see the names of the dictionary
files. There should be one for each application that has dictionary words
defined.
For those who don't know where the settings are, just go to the start menu,
to jaws 10, to explore "jaws" then to either your personal or shared
settings.

Subject: [JAWSLite] dictionary manager
Listers. I have both jaws 10 and 9 on my machine.
My question: Is there a handy way to see the contents of the jaws 9
dictionary while still in jaws 10? Or does one have to close 10 and open 9
to see the jaws 9 dictionary?
Stan
