[JAWSLite] Re: caps lock

Hi:
Check in basic setting that you have your keyboard layout set to laptop, 
then Try going into your configuration manager and hit control +shift +D to 
load the default keyconfiguration manager..
Hit alt + s for settings, then K for keyboard options.
Make sure that  JAWS Key for Laptop Layout is set to Caps Lock.
Also you might want to go to your jaws settings, enu folder and make sure 
that default.jcf is not set to read only by focusing on it and hitting alt 
+ enter and make sure read only  and hidden are not checked.
Reboot your computer and see it that helps.
What happened just before you had this  problem?  Did you install another 
program? did you up jaws and this starts? did you have a crash and this 
started happening or did it just begin on it's own?

Hi all --
I have the weirdest problem today
Jaws is suddenly in a state where it indicates that caps lock is off, but
speaks the characters as if it is on.
Is this message coming through in all caps?
I have the laptop keyboard layout specified so caps lock is used as the 
jaws
key, and tapping it twice rapidly toggles the caps lock. But somehow this
morning it has gotten into a weird state.
Please help if you have any ideas what I can do.
I am using jaws 8
