[JAWSLite] Re: can blind person trade on a stock market using jaws?

Regarding your first question, you find out about a broker's website
accessibility by looking into which one or ones interest you and then asking
other blind users about accessibility. See the questions I put to you in my
previous posting. Or you take a chance.

As for your second question, some broker websites enable you to see all your
holdings on a single page with real-time prices. JAWS can readily negotiate
such a page.

To give a non-JAWS answer, the frenetic activity of trading you seem to
anticipate would be bad for your financial health. You would be well advised
to take a course in investing before plunging in too deep.

Thank you for your answer, however, how do I evaluate whether the brokaridge
house has its website accessible or not. Also as far as I understand the
stocks can flactuate every second or few seconds how do I deal with that?
Because if I have let us say 10 stocks and trying to follow them I may
receive simply too many responses from jaws. I hope that my question is
clear if not please contact me privately or through skype my skype id is
zdenek.vopat many thanks.

Software is not a necessity. Instead, you must have an account at a
brokerage house, and then the question is whether the one you choose has
made its website accessible. If you have questions along those lines, you
should tell the list which country you plan to trade in and which, if any,
brokerage houses you've considered.

Depending on how sophisticated you want to be in tracking your trades, you
may want to use Excel or a similar application. Otherwise, keeping careful
records in a word processing document is enough. It's also worth knowing
that many investment-related documents are produced as graphics PDF files, a
frequent subject of list messages.
