[JAWSLite] Re: book keeping

Thanks Stan-there blind folks who run their own businesses. I'll try Yahoo.
It may come down to paying a bookkeeper-ouch.

Dear Wayne: Once when my wife became treasurer of a service club, I put
those books on Quicken 2003. It was better than hand entry, but it is hard
for me to imagine using this software for a business. Certainly the emphasis
would have to be on the L I G H T part of light bookkeeping.

Yahoo groups has a forum called Quicken for the blind. It is very low
traffic, but you might try a post there to see if you get something helpful.

Hello

In a previous e-mail I asked about the accessibility of Quick Books and the
answer came back that it is not at all accessible. Another program,
Quicken, is listed as supported by JAWS up to 2003. This program does not
seem to be designed for business accounting.

Can any one tell me if Quicken can be used for business, purposes or if
there is an accessible accounting program for Jaws users?

Wayne
