Hi, you have a license for jaws 5.x and therefoer your recent upgrade 
to jaws 5.1 was free.

FS usually provides one or more minor upgrade or bugfix releases for 
each major version of jaws. You can tell this by looking at the build 
version. With jaws, there were two bug fix releases to jaws 5.0 and 
then 5.1 was another free upgrade within jaws 5.x.

with jaws 6, you had the initial jaws 6.0 and then jaws 6.1 and 6.2 
as free upgrades for anyone licensed for jaws 6.x

If you want to try or use Firefox, you might want to try the free 
nvda screenreader that at this time works better with firefox than it 
does with I.e. I know you are on the nvda list so you can get any 
information you need on nvda in that forum.
