Hi Anubha!

That not a bug, it's meant to be feature. In Outlook Express go to the 
options dialog and there to the security tab. Under antivurs protection 
you will find something that read like "Do not allow to open or save 
possibly dangerous attachments" (just translating from spanish, don'T 
have the english version of OE at hand). Deactivate this option and save 
your changes.
 From now on OE will allow you to access your attachments.

BTW: I am new to this list. I have studied computer science. At the 
moment, my profession is to give computer courses for blind and 
partially sighted persons. I do that in german, english and spanish. I 
also offer online computer training via the internet.
