  I don't know if this had anything to do with it, but once in a while I 
will accidentally hit the "Left Mouse Button" lock key. (Insert + Left Mouse 
button on the num pad) That locks it up pretty good to where I can't get it 
to read anything. Once it finally dawns on me what I've done, I hit the 
"Insert + Left Mouse Button" key again. (The slash key at the top of the num 
pad, 2nd key from the left), and that gets it back to where I can use it 
again.

    I now remember hearing sticky keys a few dayys ago...I went to settings 
and fiddled with keyboard...then I restarted the computer and things arre 
much better now.
