I was speaking of creating them, not opening them neighbor, grin.
I have need of being able to generate my own self extracting files, and it is
also useful as a simple application installer if you get the more advanced
version.

I never use winzip because windows xp already has a file extractor in it that
works fine. Seems to me you don't need it.

Hello
I have not made a decision on the subject. I am trying to learn if there
are benefits to getting the Winzip program because MS knows that there is
already a zip function in their program. I want to know if there is a reason
to get Winzip and if the program is accessible.

Hi there! Are you using Windows XP? Zip file functionality is already
there. I have had no problems with it regarding Zip files. Why do you want to
get Winzip?At 09:27 PM 8/29/2007 -0500, you wrote:

this new version and know how well it works with JAWS 8.2 Pro?
