[JAWSLite] Re: Winzip

I got to it by using apps key on a zip file, hitting h for open with, and it
read "compressed(zip) folders, and I do believe that there is a command line
prompt to utilize it, but I don't know what they are, since I have use for, so
use WinZip myself.

probably others can answer this one better than I.

Um, where is the built in zip utility in XP Home, or is there one in XP home?
After reinstalling our operating system a while back, this function seems to be
missing.

WinZip is accessible. I don't know of any advantages that it has over the
zip utility built into XP. XP's built in utility is acccessible and very
simple- perhaps a little simpler than WinZip. Hope this helps.

    Hello

I have not made a decision on the subject. I am trying to learn if there
are benefits to getting the Winzip program because MS knows that there is
already a zip function in their program. I want to know if there is a reason
to get Winzip and if the program is accessible.

Hi there! Are you using Windows XP? Zip file functionality is already
there. I have had no problems with it regarding Zip files. Why do you want to
get Winzip?At 09:27 PM 8/29/2007 -0500, you wrote:
