[JAWSLite] Re: Useing desktop for a list?

simple, just simplify, use a text document, note pad has the same find 
abilities for general searches as does word, and is far less memory 
intensive, or an rtf, which will open on almost as many systems giving you 
portability as well, if you use symbols such as @@ and ++ to mark separate 
persons and sections you can use those to jump down the list at high speed.

one note on rtf documents, you can set your comp to open them with hj pad 
giving you a spell checker, which WordPad does not have.
