Check the com port properties and make sure that
under your COM port number that your double talk is connected too, that
for example, here's what mine looks like:
Advanced Settings for COM1
Use FIFO buffers (requires 16550 compatible UART) is unchecked.
otherwise, you could have problems and will get out of sync.
