[JAWSLite] Re: Screen find functionality

Judith,
In your example, did you try using the JawsKey+Enter to find the next group of
text not associated to a link? You can also go backward by adding the Shift
key to that key event.

The jaws key plus control plus F is the find function on the screen. On the
sites where what you are searching for is not within the boundaries (I think
that's the word) of jaws yoou will get a negative return. I haven't figured
out how to overcome this and if anyone has the information please feel free.
For example, I went on the web, using links from Google, to read the biography
of an individual. The name of the individual was at the top of the page as in
"Biography of Abe Lincoln." However, I couldn't get any other information off
the page about the person. I used the jaws find and typed the word "born" into
the field and still got nothing. I tried typing the name of the place where I
knew this individual was born and still nothing. How can I refocus my browser
on the text for the site that I want? Judith
