Hey  everyone,

I'm really new to the list,(I just joined yesterday).

Just wanted to say that Web Visum and I get along famously. 
Firefox isn't a bad brouser, it works very well with jaws, and most of the
commands are the same as  in IE.

The only thing that Ii've noticed differently is in jaws ten, Web Visum
doesn't tell you that it's scanning the capta, and it doesn't tell you that
it's done.
Well I don't know about you, but jaws doesn't tell me.
Other than that, the program is very efficent.

I'm sorry to prolong the thread, but why wouldn't a person want to use
Firefox if it has this capability, along with several others?

This is getting far afield from a JAWS discussion, and I guess I've said
what I feel I need to. But to my good friends, Steve and Arthur, Pin would
not be the answer if Webvisum weren't here, and I would have completely
agreed with their and other listers' comments.

well what I did was tell Pin. Pin came and typed in the words because she
can see. Very quick and easy and I didn't have to download or learn firefox.

I've been hoping someone would challenge this thread. Webvisum has created a
solution for this former problem, so this stand is no longer principled or
defensible. It's about cutting off one's nose to spite one's face.

Better yet, don't use the site which is generally my policy. Much easier
than installing a browser and being invited to use a piece of programming.

I tell you. I don't know what we are gona do but I tried to join facebook
today and it has one of those things where you have to listen to a distorted
recording of numbers and type them in a box. For the life of me I

couldn't understand the recording. Even after playing it several times. I
will have to get sighted help. I realize they have to make the recording
hard for spammers to pick up but there must be another solution.
