These issues with "invisible codes" are on-going. I will contact the NFB
and see if their legal department is working on this as a civil rights, ADA
issue. If it is not, it needs to be. The ADA got us into the buildings,
helped us to get the jobs and, now, because of technology, we enter the
office and the tools are invisible. When commercial and government
buildings are built today, they are required to be accessible. The
architecture of hardware and software needs to be built with accessibility
built in or they must provide the plugins and other tools to let us do what
everybody else is doing. I suggest that you contact the blind and
disability advocacy groups and the Civil Rights division of the Justice
Department. Why should we have to battle and educate every company for
this?
If we don't do this, who will?

I have very little problem with audio captchas here, but I don't have any
hearing loss either. I agree though that webvisum is currently the way to
go but be warned different captcha methods are coming that may make
webvisume wworthless as well.

there is no way you can hear that audio captucha that is widely used today.
You hear a bunch of people talking like you are in a bar or something and
the different people who say the numbers sound like they are drunk. I either
contact the web people and explain the problem or do not use the site.
