[JAWSLite] Re: [SPAM] Re: Winzip

Hi Allan,

Well, I don't have either one of those options. Thanks anyway.

hi,
there is two options to do this:

1st option. select the .zip file, press application key, arrow down to Extract All... and hit enter then follow the instruction on
screen.

2nd option. press enter at the .zip file and you will see all file in that zip package. press alt+f for file menu, arrow down to
extract all... and hit enter then follow on screen instruction.

hope this helps.

Allan,

That's to zip a file. What about unzipping?

select a file or folder that you wish to zip, press application key and
arrow down to "send to submenu", arrow right to open the
submenu, the first option should be "compress zip folder", there you goes.

hope this helps.

Um, where is the built in zip utility in XP Home, or is there one in XP
home? After reinstalling our operating system a while back,
this function seems to be missing.

WinZip is accessible. I don't know of any advantages that it has over
the zip utility built into XP. XP's built in utility is
acccessible and very simple- perhaps a little simpler than WinZip. Hope
this helps.

 Hello

I have not made a decision on the subject. I am trying to learn if there
are benefits to getting the Winzip program because MS
knows that there is already a zip function in their program. I want to
know if there is a reason to get Winzip and if the program
is accessible.

Hi there! Are you using Windows XP? Zip file functionality is already
there. I have had no problems with it regarding Zip
files. Why do you want to get Winzip? At 09:27 PM 8/29/2007 -0500, you
