You have to have it converted to be read in the internet browser.  
Alt h, then x, then v should do the trick, I just discovered this recently
myself.

No, that doesn't seem to be the problem.  It's simply that things like
weather emails and some other commercial emails are in tables for lay-out
purposes and they don't seem to read well with jaws.
