The PDF document you are trying to open is an image of text and not a
text PDF document. Thus when ADOBE opens up that picture JAWS only sees
an empty document.
PDF has two types of documents. One is an image and when Adobe opens up
you will get the message "empty document" the other is a PDF Text and
when Adobe opens it JAWS will actually be able to read it. So one is a
picture of text and the other is actually text.

Subject: [JAWSLite] PDF problem
Hi List,
I have a problem reading PDF files in acrobat reader.
After I open the file and after Acrobat reader processes the file for
reading, JAWS announces "empty document." I would appreciate any help
you can give me.
I am using JAWS 7 and Windows XP.
Thanks.
Bob
