[JAWSLite] PDF problem

Hi List,
   I have a problem reading PDF files in acrobat reader.

After I open the file and after Acrobat reader processes the file for reading, 
JAWS announces  "empty document." I would appreciate any help you can give me.

I am using JAWS 7 and Windows XP.
