[JAWSLite] Re: Obtaining Phone or E-Mail in Outlook contacts

I too find this annoying - that there are no shortcut keys for moving to a specific field within a contact in Outlook 03 with JFW 8.0. On a new desk top computer I can't even find how to add someone to my address book automatically. On the laptop I can get at it from the applications key context menu if I am in the "From: field. On the desktop, using the jaws cursor I do not get the same context menu which used to allow me to add someone to my address book. Also when I go into the menus I don't always hear all the menu items such as go to or send receive settings. Sometimes a whole column of menu items is not spoken, when I open new mail I am not at the top of the e-mail message and other annoying things happen like information from other windows often bleeds through into the application I am working on. These are just a few areas in which JFW loses focus or other things are going on.

I don't think there is a way to do this. When you open the contacts dialog
box, there are no shortcut keys to move to the phone number or e-mail
fields.

move to a particular contact in the list view, you cannot use the say line
command to read the line, but you can route the Jaws cursor to the PC cursor
and then move by word or character to read the phone number or e-mail
address.

I was hoping that Jaws 9 would enable you to use the PC cursor and the say
line command to read this information, but unfortunately, this is not the
case. This is true for both Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003. I don't know if
it works any better with Outlook 2007.
