skype themselves do not yet recommend skype 4.0 for blind users 
because accessibility features are not yet fully implemented in skype 
4.0. They arepromising to come out with a fully accessible version in 
the near future - whatever that means - but recommend sticking with 
skype 3.8 for now.

Skype 4.0 is usable with jaws especially with Mr.Lee's scripts for 
it, but skype 3.8 is still the more easily accessible version.
