Hi there
Just wondering about something, and I can't seem to find anything related in
the Jaws help, but might just be looking for the wrong keywords, or else
it's also possible it's not something that can be done.
Anyway, if you're in some or other list view, like browsing files, or in a
list box, or in a list of radio buttons etc. etc., if you use the Jaws key +
the up arrow, after reading the description for the selected item, it'll
also tell you the list index thereof - something along the lines of 2 of 3,
50 of 100 etc. etc.
Anyway, just wondering if there's a way to simply get told just that index
no. as opposed to having to first listen to the full description since
sometimes it would just save time/be the only thing you want to know.
Like I said, can't find anything related in the Jaws help, but was just
wondering.
One more thing, FWIW, I'm currently running Jaws 8.0.1177 since I'm still
trying to decide if it's worth using one of my SMA upgrades to move to Jaws
9.0.xxxx etc.
Stay well
