[JAWSLite] Re: Jaws update problem

There are lots of choices for sound card items in Control Panel Sounds and 
Audio Devices, and I have no idea where most of them came from. But in 
reading the FS bulletins, I found out that Jaws uses the first installed 
sound card on a system and that this overrides the default choice of sound 
card in the sounds and audio devices. In my case, we had to reinstall our 
sound card at one point, so I think Jaws now sees something else as the 
first installation and therefore doesn't come up talking. I edited the 
jfw.ini file to tell Jaws to always use the sound card I want, and 
everything is fine.
