[JAWSLite] Re: Jaws saying space marker in Word

sigh, that figures, I hate when folks do this, especially someone like FS doing
it to us, Grhrhrhrhrhrhrhrhrhrowlhlhlhlhlhlhlh!

I suppose we could try writing them, I have to anyway so I'll hit them up about
it in the next couple days, but anyone else do so to, the more times they get
hit with it, the more likely they are to give us a definitive answer.

take care,
inthane

Hi Inthane, I ran windig and it doesn't show me the keystroke we are
discussing. It does show all the common ones we are familiar with but not this
one and I expect others.

hmmm, if you wish to give it a try, on a site I run, called the grab bag,
there is a application called win dig, and what it attempts to do is pull the
hot keys out of the program its run against, it could bring out any uncommonly
noted shortcuts that are there, along with all the ones we already know about.

The key stroke is necessarily Word. I can't recall how I found it. Word
help is no help, and it is not under Jaws help, popular applications key
strokes. I probably found it on Google.

Where did you find this key combination. I would be much interested in
other such things but haven't found it in jaws help are they word keystrokes?

The key combination to toggle this on and off is control shift 8.
The long way to do it is to go to tools, options and on the view page tab
like crazy until you get to "all" and uncheck it and tab to OK.

Hi All, This afternoon a sighted co-worker was using my computer. Now when
Jaws reads a document in MS Word it says space marker between every word and
paragraph marker between paragraphs. I'm sure it's some little thing that needs
to be turned on, off or tweeked to get back to the way it should be, but I have
no idea what that is. Any thoughts? I'm using Jaws 8 pro and XP pro.

    Thanks,
    Shari
