Forgive me for not getting all the terminology right here, but we got a new
gadget in our house this year for Christmas and so far I haven't found a way to
use it with Jaws.
It's the Ion cassette to PC conversion tape deck. It has an audio out that
plugs into the PC as a USB device. However when I do it with Jaws, the sound is
automatically directed away from my sound card to the Ion unit. I can use
Narrator, though.
So, I'm wondering if I can temporarily set Jaws to use the onboard sound chip
like Narrator does.
And please, I know there are other ways to copy cassettes, and ways to do it
through the sound card, etc. That's not my question, and I can certainly do the
task other ways. I'm just wondering about redirecting Jaws to use the onboard
sound chip.
