If jaws is a service, it runs before you log into an account. If you
unload jaws and then just start it up as an application, then when you log
off that account you will lose speech.

Subject: [JAWSLite] Jaws Application or Service

Hi,

I have never heard of there being any choice as to what function jaws
performs. What is the difference between Jaws used as an app, or jaws being
used as a service? This is entirely new to me.

Many thanks,
Nancy
