[JAWSLite] Java and Windows XP OS

Hi friends,

I'm using windows XP PRO with all the latest updates and my question is about 
Java.
I don't see, when I look at: my add/remove programs,  any Java installed 
program.
Do I have to install one, if yes, which one and where and what can I expect to 
benefit or any other improvements by installing that Java program?
I'm really don't know much about that but I read some emails about blind users 
here that are using Java.

Any info or help is much appreciated.
