[JAWSLite] JAWS-Sound Forge-Laptops

Hello
 

I am currently working with Sound Forge 8 and Jaws 8, on a desktop.  I am
going to be getting my first laptop in a short time.  Some one told me that
working with Sound Forge on a laptop is much more difficult than a desktop.
That doesn't seem to make sense, other than the lack of a numbpad.  Does any
one have experience with using Sound Forge on a laptop?
