[JAWSLite] Re: JAWS saying Format Edit in text files

I take it your referring to note pad, seeing as I have the same trouble with
it, and have been very tempted to use my html editor for making text documents
due to this.

I don't know of a direct fix, but there is an add in application at:
www.jfwlite.com
that is supposed to maximize all windows that you open automatically.

there is as well, a vague chance that one of the windows XP tweaking tools
might give you the ability to change this behavior, but I don't know that it
will, it is just a thought on a possibility.

Subject: [JAWSLite] JAWS saying Format Edit in text files

This list is fantastic. I got a question answered, not directly, but by
reading answers to other problems.

I figured out one problem, but now I have another related problem.

I had a problem I couldn't figure out. JAWS kept saying "format edit" on
every line in my text documents. When I would go down with the arrow key, or
hit insert down arrow, it would say that on each line. Reading other posts
about problems with "arrowing thru a macro list" I went ahead and tried
maximizing in the text file. That did the trick! When I maximize the page, it
stops giving me that darn "format edit" on each line. The problem now is I'm
having to maximize every text document I open. This just started a couple of
days ago. Is there a way to go in and set the settings so that when I open a
text file or start a new one, it will automatically be maximized?

  Thanks,

  Ken
