[JAWSLite] JAWS saying Format Edit in text files

This list is fantastic. I got a question answered, not directly, but by reading 
answers to other problems.

I figured out one problem, but now I have another related problem.

I had a problem I couldn't figure out. JAWS kept saying "format edit" on every 
line in my text documents. When I would go down with the arrow key, or hit 
insert down arrow, it would say that on each line. Reading other posts about 
problems with "arrowing thru a macro list" I went ahead and tried maximizing in 
the text file. That did the trick! When I maximize the page, it stops giving me 
that darn "format edit" on each line. The problem now is I'm having to maximize 
every text document I open. This just started a couple of days ago. Is there a 
way to go in and set the settings so that when I open a text file or start a 
new one, it will automatically be maximized?
