The only setting in our lovely XP pro is under the Advanced tab. It is almost
the last thing (think it's next to last) and says "Warn if changing between
secure and nonsecure mode". I have it turned off. Our older IE used to have
another specific setting for that, but can't find it with this newer OS.

There are settings under Internet Options in the Tools menu that should
stop most of this.

Subject: [JAWSLite] JAWS and Internet Explorer 7
Hi List,
I finally "bit the bullet" and upgraded from IE 6 to IE 7 yesterday.
I am using XP Home and JFW 9.0 with the latest update. I have Tab Browsing
turned off and I have the Fishing Filter turned off.
I am having two issues, but not consistently:
1. When I try to go to a web page, especially my Internet Banking site,
JAWS seems to lose focus. All I get is one line, but, if I press Shift Tab,
then the whole page, complete with links, comes into focus.
2. Sometimes, when I go to a secure web site, such as my Internet Banking
site, I get a message telling me that there are both secure and insecure things
here; then, it asks if I want to view the insecure ones as well. I can click on
Yes or No, so I click on Yes. Then, I get another similar message with an OK
button, which I click on. Is there a way to stop all of this?
Thanks for any help,
Don
