Hi,
You won't get that security question all the time. It only comes up once in
awhile so that part is normal.

Hi Ryan,
As I told Nance in an earlier post today, that option under the Advanced
Tab was already turned off, but the strange thing is that I have not gotten
that warning notice about secure and insecure items this morning at all,
after several tries of launching my Internet Banking site. Also, I did use
your suggestion and maximize the IE 7 window.
However, I did notice that JAWS lost focus with the first web site I
tried to load each time I launched Internet Explorer 7. So, I tried
something else: I have always had a blank page for my home page, so I tried
making my Internet Banking site my home page and that works fine as soon as
I launch IE 7; go figure!
Thanks, everyone, for all the suggestions. If you have any more, I will
welcome them.
Don

Hi,
I am not 100% sure, but I thought there was a check box that?s says
?Do Not Show Me This Warning Again? in the dialog about secure and insecure
items. If there is no check box, this setting is also in internet options
under the advanced tab. In the tree view, look for the item that says
something like warn about secure and insecure items. It is near the bottom
of the tree view and is on by default.
As for your first problem, the only thing I can suggest is to make
sure that the IE window is maximized. It sounds like something else on your
system is stealing focus from the main window.

Hi List,
I finally "bit the bullet" and upgraded from IE 6 to IE 7
yesterday. I am using XP Home and JFW 9.0 with the latest update. I have Tab
Browsing turned off and I have the Fishing Filter turned off.
I am having two issues, but not consistently:
1. When I try to go to a web page, especially my Internet Banking
site, JAWS seems to lose focus. All I get is one line, but, if I press Shift
Tab, then the whole page, complete with links, comes into focus.
2. Sometimes, when I go to a secure web site, such as my Internet
Banking site, I get a message telling me that there are both secure and
insecure things here; then, it asks if I want to view the insecure ones as
well. I can click on Yes or No, so I click on Yes. Then, I get another
similar message with an OK button, which I click on. Is there a way to stop
all of this?
Thanks for any help,
Don
