I remember some problem I had with combo boxes in an earlier version and I
bet it was jaws 6. What ever it was there was some fix that I had to do for
it. I wonder how you would go about finding that. Maybe a Google search for
combo boxes not working in jfw. I don't know.

Hi Wayne,
I am currently using JFW 6.2 and I also use IE 7 on my other machine. the
only problem I ad with JFW 6.2 and IE 7 is, when in a combo box on a
webpage, JAWS wouldn't read the field when I move down it, and when
editing emails, often times a character would not appear in a given
word...
In short, if using JFW 8+, IE ought to work out fine for you.
Best Regards,
Cornell

Hi
Microsoft keeps prompting me to upgrade from Internet Explorer 6 to
Internet
Explorer 7. They claim that there are important security fixes and
improvements. I have heard that JAWS 8 works better with IE 6. Do some
of
you have experience with the upgrade and is it worth it?
Wayne
