[JAWSLite] Re: Impossible Web Site

OK- with lots and lots of effort I'm getting variable results. It does seem to
help if I make sure the PC cursor is at the beginning of the fake link before
routing JAWS to PC. Otherwise, I often hear 'blank' after routing the cursor
to one of these text strings that is supposed to be a link or something. I was
able to get some lists to come down and even got a new page to open. However,
some of the content constantly changes (guess that's the flash part) so I can't
get any reliable idea of everything on the page.

If anyone did better, please let me know, otherwise I'll assume that this is as
good or bad as it gets with flash and JAWS at the current time. Thanks so much
for all who worked on this.

A sighted person can click on 'specials' for example, and pull down a list of
items. Clicking on one of these items does change the page. I think I've
tried each suggestion, and JAWS sees no links, navigation slows the longer I'm
on the page, and using the JAWS cursor to simulate mouse actions does not
activate anything. I'm concerned that there seem to be more sites like this
all the time which JAWS cannot access and I have no idea what the issue is.
Just in case, I updated both JAVA and the access bridge before attacking the
site this last time.

Did anyone ever get a "link" to change anything on the page?

It loaded here in lesss than 20 seconds and that's for the flash content to
load and start playing. 3 minutes is really a long time for such a small page
to load.

I have JAWS-9 and IE-6. The web site works for me; however, it has a Very large
amount of baggage that loads along with it. I did see the form fields with Jaws
and I don't have the access bridge installed. All the links that show visually
don't show in Jaws though. The took over 3 minutes to load before the flash
started to play and we have pretty good connection performance.

It took almost as long to load with Jaws shut down so I think it is just a
really large amount of stuff.

You need to make sure you have the Java Access Bridge installed in order to see
whatever is there that's coded propperly.

With JAWS 9, IE7 and XP-Pro- I am getting extremely sluggish behavior, no
links, and an empty main frame. Turning off flash and page refreshes makes no
difference here. I also checked add-ons but did not see anything unusual
listed there. Can others do anything with this one? Thanks.
